After years of struggling with my weight and motivation to get fit, I met Tracy at Northumberland Club in Jesmond.

I was apprehensive at first – I’ve had PT's before and it’s never really worked for me but the focus, hard work, and dedication Tracy has to her clients and her sessions is huge. It made me finally want to stick to a routine with regards to my fitness.

It’s been over a year now and I’m still seeing Tracy at least once a week – she’s made me enjoy my workouts and is a lovely and inspirational person to be around – not to mention she’s hilarious!

Tracy’s sessions are tough but fair and I have seen some great results in both weight loss and muscle definition.

  After trying many years of different ways of exercising: gyms, classes, hiring gym equipment at home, I wasn’t seeing the results I was hoping for especially with the amount of hours I was putting into trying to get in shape. I finally became exasperated and demotivated with the lack of progress, and on suggestion looked into personal training.

I'd never thought it would suit me but even after a short time training with Tracy, I (and others) noticed a big difference not only in how much better I was looking, but how much energy I had.

Tracy makes each session interesting and different so I never get bored. She's also shown me how to exercise properly (I was doing things wrong for years) and motives me in such a way so by the end of each session I'm completely exhausted, but feeling really great and I actually look forward to coming back for the next session.

Tracy always goes above and beyond just the sessions and is always willing to help with advice on diet and any other aspects of fitness.

I really wish id looked into training sooner as after just a short time I had seen fantastic results and for the first time I actually enjoy exercising.

  I, like most of the population, have been ‘planning’ to lose weight for what seems like half a life time! I have bought the books, dvds and magazines regarding exercise and the quick-fix diets. Obviously, I have joined gyms and attended leisure centres with every intention of sticking to a decent course of sessions or several long hours on the weight machines three times a week!

I have often been told (and indeed thought to myself), if I spent as much time ‘doing’ as I did talking about my exercise and diet plan, then things really would change.

As a twenty something, I was always a size 10 and never had a real need to diet but even then, I knew I could have been more toned. Once I hit my thirties I crept up to a size 12 and then on hitting the big 40, I was heading toward a size 14. I started to accept my new dress sizes and denied there was a ‘growing’ problem.

As well as the external appearance, I was starting to feel less fit and getting a few back problems, which just wanted to make me shy away from exercise even more. Even after, two Great North Run’s, I didn’t seem to look or feel any better.

Then, I met Tracy Fairly and finally, my body and health has changed. I started working with Tracy a Year ago and I have found her attitude to training and diet, along with her support and feedback have had a huge impact on my life. Not only have I lost a stone (and back in size 10 dresses) but I just feel so much healthier and have a new zest for life! I no longer have back problems and I feel years younger and so much happier in my own skin. I work hard in my sessions and Tracy is able to get a great balance in terms of tough love and encouragement. Don’t get me wrong, I am not an easy student, I still have another half stone to lose and I do ‘fall of the wagon’ occasionally, but I know without Tracy, I would now be heading towards a size 16 and no gym or impulse diet would have done the trick. Instead, I intend to be fitter and healthier at 50 than I am now.

If you are serious about losing weight and more importantly, serious about your health, stick with a personal trainer like Tracy, it really does work and actually ends up costing much less than all those gym memberships and expensive diets.

  I met Tracy after shortly completing a course with another personal trainer and was eager to continue to loose more weight and hit my target goal weight. I wanted to improve my fitness levels, gain strength and get in good shape.

Shortly after meeting Tracy, my approach to diet and exercise changed. I discussed with Tracy my target goal weight and with following her diet and nutritional advice aswell as her prepared workouts for each session, I was within no time beginning to see the results that I wanted! Tracy is very positive, energetic and has a great attitude towards fitness and will go beyond her expected needs of a personal trainer to help you loose those extra pounds. She has always been flexible with scheduling sessions around my awkward working pattern which has helped me to remain focused on my fitness.

Tracy puts in a lot of thought and effort to create new, exciting workouts and tailor them to each client’s needs. I feel that every session for me is a new challenge and am being pushed to another level. I have always hated running with a passion but thanks to Tracy challenging me and taking me out for regular runs, running has now become my favourite aspect of exercising.

Not only has Tracy taken interest in my workouts but she has also helped me to strike a good balance with my food plan. I often seek interesting recipes of Tracy to try out new things and help mix my food plan which has kept me interested and motivated.

Since training with Tracy, I’ve learnt how body fat percentage plays an integral part as whilst body weight may remain the same, body composition may alter. I was unaware that this is a good thing as it indicates you are losing body fat and gaining muscle but thanks to Tracy I now understand this concept.

Overall, I believe Tracy is a fantastic personal trainer and knows exactly how to keep me on track. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in improving their overall physical and mental well being.
